We heart burgundy

Fall's 'it' color this season (if you haven't already guessed), it's burgundy! I'm currently obsessed with this dark, rich, wine color. For those who live in cold countries, a lot of folks must have put away their summer clothes. Instead of mourning the loss of summer and wearing black, why not play around with this fabulous wine color and welcome Fall with open arms! Burgundy is always turned up pretty and classy, it's like a new red for winter!

Here are some pictures that I incorporated burgundy into an outfit! Enjoy people! Christmas is coming real soon, I'm looking forward to some Christmas spirit!

I was wearing a black studded Zara v-neck top with Dotti mini skirt, paired them with my new burgundy over-sized cardigan from Stradivarius, matched the outfit with a Louis Vuitton vernis small bag with gold chains.

A Dash of Gold

It is now raining quite heavily outside. I'm now sitting in front of my pink laptop, and behind is the big window in my room. I can see the rain pouring so heavily thru my window. I was away for a few days for some weekend trip and now I'm back. Home sweet home! Nothing beats my own home :)
But I was beat from too much walking/shopping {LOL}. Tiring days during my trip made me falling sick. I was bedridden for 2 days. Currently NO work. I took some days off to recuperate.

Now I'm back again with some outfit posts. Enjoy!

I paired shades of gold from the top down starting with a light colored of loose sweater kinda top with gold sprinkles to gold woven shorts from Forever 21 with black lining on both sides. I added a caramel lamb skin Chanel bag with gold hardware.

If you are not in fashion, you are nobody

Bonjour! As mentioned in my earlier blog post, this is gonna be another post about blazer. In my earlier post, it was about the sophisticated beau satin blazer but this time is going to be the 'boyfriend' type of blazer.
This style of blazer has been very popular for the last couple of years. What i was trying to create about this look is the more laid-back masculine kinda look. Hence, i can show you guys that I'm able to create different looks with different types of blazer. At the same time, the blazer gives me the very modern, edgy and casual look.

A lot of mixed colors going on here. I was wearing a simple mustard stripped Tee from Pull & Bear, tucked in to an old denim shorts that I got from Shanghai. Again, I added my Alexander Mcqueen scarf to the whole look to make it edgy. And I chose Balenciaga bag that I thought it would be the best bag to complement the look.

Tee : Pull & Bear
Shorts : Vintage denim
Blazer : Stradivarius
Bag : Balenciaga
Shoes : Zara
Bracelet : Hermes

A withered flower blooming again

This post and the latter post are going to be all about blazers! Blazer is one of those clothing items that will never go out of style. The piece itself is very androgynous; it can be feminine or it can be masculine, it can dress an outfit up or it can dress it down. For instance, if you are going to a meeting and if you throw on a blazer over practically anything, you will look more sophisticated and ‘business’ and if you’re going out and your dress is a bit too revealing, you can throw on a blazer and suddenly look sexy, but sophisticated.

We all have at least one in your closet - if you don't, you definitely should!

Below, I was wearing my new blazer from Bardot. Another new piece that my brother got me with his girlfriend's assistance for picking it out. I should've given her a credit on her pick! The blazer is very flattering and sophisticated, made of satin and full of flowery patterns. Since the blazer is already full of colors so I wanted to tone it down by keeping it all white inside. I really love this whole look that I created and I hope this could be inspiring for you guys.

I never forget to wear my over-sized sunnies. It's the best accessory for my eyes. Wearing the over-sized shades from Chloe. One of my best eye-wear investments!
Covered the handle of my Celine with a scarf from Coach. It just gives a bag a little twist.

Top : Forever 21
Skirt : BYSI
Blazer : Bardot
Eyewear : Chloe
Bag : Celine {Trapeze}

Paris Londres New York

If you notice that I rarely smile in my photos, is because I just find it awkward to smile by showing my teeth. I got these bunny front teeth that I always try to keep them concealed {LOL}. I feel more confident not to smile in my photos with my eyes covered with the over-sized shades. I always need my over-sized shades for my blog shoots, is just something that I usually carry in my bag. It's one great way too to cover my bare face. I love my Chloe over-sized shades and lately I've been stealing my hubby's RayBan Aviators.

I was wearing a black&white blazer from Bardot Australia, and a white sheer sleeveless top that says "Paris London New York" inside.  A pair of  flowery shorts to add the feminine effect of the whole look.
Paris is always a good idea, don't you think? Fashion week happens twice a year and the most prominent fashion weeks are held in the major capitals of the world like New York City, London, Milan and Paris with New York beginning each season and the other cities following in aforementioned order.

I live in fantasy

Today's blog post is all about my new print skirt, which sort of reminds me of Mary Katrantzou's designs. She is the master of illusory digital prints that are mirrored in her design works. She always comes up with artistic mixed patterns that are every eye popping. When you see her design works on garments, they are such a head turner. She is a designer who thinks very precisely where her prints fall.

The one I was wearing is from Dotti, a Sydney local clothing store. It was actually spotted by my brother's girlfriend. She just knows how to pick great stuff! :)

I'm all happy with the skirt. The artistic peacock pattern and the material are a match. I was wearing my new intrecciato bracelet from Bottega Veneta. Another gift that my brother bought for me from Sydney. See the colour...a very matching colour to my Chanel purse.

The Iconic Skull Scarf

Another Saturday has come, it's been 3 months since the whole marriage thingy. Things have been back to normal, just day-to-day routines...I realized that I've been yelling a lot to my staffs lately. They always make me upset because their works have not been done in accordance to my standard! sigh ~~

Hence, I decided to take a day off today from work, Just trying to put myself aside from some problems that I am now facing at the office. I thought by staying at home, I could have my mind not to think about work but it apparently didn't work. My phone kept ringing this whole afternoon...arrghhh!!

I'm glad that my brother is finally home. He just came back from his Sydney trip and he brought me a lot of new goodies...YAYY!! :D He bought me this pair of Tony Bianco classic pump shoes. These classic pump have become one of Mr.Bianco's best seller shoes. The design is simple and genius! Great with every outfit and every girl needs these!

I took the shoes for a little walk...I went out with hubby since he was off from work too today :)

I was in my casual look in grey denim and my old blouse that I've been having it forever. Bought it during my Uni days in Sydney. I occassionally go to my closet and sort all the clothes to give away some the unworn ones and those that I already get bored with, but not this blouse! i just love it...the blouse is just flattering with some gold sequins in the neckline area.

There are a few fashion items that I consider a must-have and this skull scarf by Alexander Mcqueen is one of them! This iconic skull scarf has instanly become a hit since a lot of Hollywood celebrities such as the supermodel Kate Moss, Mary Kate and Johnny Deep were seen wearing the scarves. The skull print has ever since been reworked across his collections and accessories lines. Mine was purchased in London from the famous Harrods. It's definitely one of my sartorial investments. Just perfect to transform my casual boring look to the edgy look!
